Location

The Conrad is located in an area of London steeped in British history and British institutions. The hotel is a short walk from a number of Britain’s most famous royal and political sites, with St James’s park, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament all within a five minute walk. The hotel itself is housed in a building of historical importance, having previously been a former government building which once served as Queen Anne’s Chambers.

Accommodation

The Peninsula's entry level rooms comprise the King Deluxe (28sqm), King Grand Deluxe (32sqm) and King Superior rooms (26sqm), all of which are equipped with an espresso machine, a 42” HDTV and king-sized beds. These rooms are also available as twin rooms, where the configuration is altered and the King bed is replaced with twin beds. Executive Rooms at the Conrad come with access to the Executive Lounge, measure between 36 and 54sqm, and feature large marble bathrooms. Suites include the King Duplex Suite (52sqm) which spans two floors, with HDTVs on both levels and a rain shower on the upper level; King Deluxe One Bedroom Suites (58sqm), each of which are uniquely designed and feature separate dining and lounge areas; and the Conrad Suite (113sqm), which is lit by a magnificent skylight, is opulently decorated with fine artwork and has a large lounge area with a fireplace and a separate dining area.

Dining

The Conrad is home to the Blue Boar Restaurant, which offers classic seasonal British dining and incorporates fresh British produce, including freshly caught fish from the coasts of Devon and Cornwall in its menu. The Blue Boar Bar serves locally brewed beers and ales, has a Late Night menu and a Private Drinking Room those who prefer a more personal experience. Emmeline’s, named after the political activist Emmeline Pankhurst, offers afternoon tea and live harp performances, while the hotel's Tea Lounge serves morning coffee and light lunches, as well as offering a modern take on the classic British Afternoon Tea.

Leisure

The 24-hour Fitness Centre is equipped with a number of state of the art exercise machines as well as free standing weights, while personal trainers are on-hand to help guests create a bespoke fitness program. The hotel's concierge service is also available to help guests arrange tickets and transport to London’s many attractions.
