Location

Located in the heart of London on Park Lane in Mayfair, The Dorchester offers views over Hyde Park and the hotel’s own landscaped terraces.  The hotel’s Dorchester Concierges pride themselves on knowing London inside out, and guests may hire the use of a Mercedes S class or Viano, BMW 5 series, or Rolls-Royce Phantom, with airport connections available.

Accommodation

Deluxe Queen Rooms extend to 33sqm and are tailored for single occupancy, while the largest room option, the Executive Deluxe King Room, offers 54sqm. Rooms are decorated with either an Art Deco design or an English country house interior. There are a number of individually decorated suites available which range in size from 56-123sqm, all of which are equipped with marble bathrooms. Additionally, there are three ‘Rooftop Suites’, offering magnificent views across Hyde Park, the grandest of which is the Harlequin Suite, providing 208sqm of space, a large outside terrace and a dedicated team of butlers.

Dining

Guests may dine at a number of restaurants at the hotel, including the 3 Michelin star Alain Ducasse, serving contemporary French cuisine overseen by Restaurant Director Damien Pepin, with ingredients sourced from the finest British and French suppliers. China Tang serves authentic high quality Cantonese food and hosts an exquisite bar serving classic cocktails to accompany the dim sum menu of the day. Diners are able to make use of one of the private dining rooms, named Ping, Pang and Pong. The uniquely named ‘The Spatisserie’ offers light lunches, champagne and spa cocktails in an informal setting (with the dress code ranging from normal day wear to dressing robes). The Promenade, having been refurbished in 2005 by Thierry Despont, serves breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and supper, and features live entertainment every day. The Grill serves modern European fair and has seasons menus created by Christophe Marleix. The Bar, also designed by Depont, is an ideal evening venue, serving delicious cocktails, spirits and wines, with live music played every Thursday.

Leisure

The Dorchester Spa underwent a complete renovation in 2009, yet has retained its 1930s Art Deco feel. It offers signature facials by Carol Joy London and other treatments provided by Kerstin Florian and Aromatherapy Associates. There are nine treatment rooms, including two double suites, a manicure-pedicure suite, a sleek relaxation room, male and female aromatic steam rooms and male and female experience showers as well as a well-equipped fitness centre.
