The first ever luxury Shangri-La Hotel in London is in a truly iconic location, occupying the upper floors of the Shard, one of the tallest buildings in Europe. The building is close to London Bridge station and on the doorstep of the City of London.
Occupying floors 34 to 52 of the Shard, the Shangri-La offers 202 rooms, of which 170 are deluxe guestrooms. With average room sizes greater than 42sqm, these are among the largest hotel rooms available in London. Its 25 suites, which include two specialty suites and a presidential suite, have glass-enclosed 'winter-garden' balconies.
The hotel offers three dining venues, including a gourmet deli on the ground floor, the destination LANG restaurant and TING lounge on level 35, as well as the signature GONG bar on level 52. The hotel cake shop and artisan deli on the ground floor feature a selection of Shangri-La's renowned signature cakes. The LANG restaurant and TING lounge offer an array of locally inspired dishes with an Asian twist. Featuring London’s best views and open throughout the day and evening, it is the perfect venue for any special occasion. Besides traditional afternoon tea, the TING lounge also offers an Asian-inspired Shangri-La tea, featuring one of the largest selections of Chinese teas in London.
The hotel’s spa is located on the 52nd floor and boasts an infiniti pool and a fully equipped gym.
The Shangri-La is 60-80 minutes by car from Heathrow Airport (LHR) and 30 minutes from London Paddington Station for the Heathrow Express train. It is approximately 1hr from Gatwick (LGW) and Stansted (STN) airports and 30 minutes from London City Airport (LCY).
