Location

Situated in the Noonu Atoll, this private island is a true tropical paradise. Transport to neighbouring islands is available, while the island itself is small enough (just 500m x 400m) that everything is accessible by foot, though the honeymoon suite can only be reached by boat.

Accommodation

The island has accommodation for a maximum of 142 guests at any one time, ensuring privacy and a quality island experience for every guest. Even the smallest villas offer 71sqm of indoor living space, not counting the additional 145sqm of outdoor private terraces, pools and gardens. The Romantic Villa is built entirely on the water, providing complete privacy, accessible only by boat and complete with its own 63sqm pool. Many of the villas are built on stilts above the water, with this being true of the largest Ocean House villa, which offers 209sqm of living space. All villas come with a swimming pool and spectacular views of the ocean.

Dining

Guests on the island can dine at the Athiri Restaurant, with three dining areas overlooking the sea and menus designed by Michelin star chef Adeline Grattard. There is also the Aragu & CRU Champagne Lounge, which offers innovative, modern fine dining and is positioned on stilts above the water, ensuring views of the sea from everywhere in the restaurant. At the centre of the island is the Tavaru Tower, where guests can enjoy live cooking and the largest wine selection in the Maldives.

Leisure

A number of activities are available on and off the island, including snorkelling, diving, underwater exploration with semi-submarines, yoga, traditional Maldivian Bahtheli boat trips and many sports such tennis, squash and golf. My Blend by Clarins Spa offers facials and body treatments, as well as the first ‘snow room’ in the Maldives.
