Location

With a prime location on the banks of Chicago River, the Langham is within easy reach of the city's business district and main retail areas. A number of recognized dining venues are located in the area immediately surrounding the hotel and there are many theaters located just across the river. There are many transport connections, with a metro station nearby and a ferry stop just meters from the building. The concierge team will be happy to arrange transport connections to and from the airport, with a limousine service also available.

Accommodation

Classic, Grand and Langham Club rooms are some of the most spacious entry level rooms available in the city, featuring soft color palettes and beautiful views. Guests of the Langham Club rooms also benefit from the Langham Club benefits and services. Langham Executive rooms add an extra level of luxury, with rich textiles, wood furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling windows which fill the 67sqm of living space with natural light. Classic and Langham Club suites measure 89sqm, each with a spacious living room containing a desk, a miniature dining table, a wet bar and a cellarette; a comfortable bedroom with a chaise and walk-in dressing room; and an oversized master bathroom. The extra-spacious Classic River View suites measure 114sqm and have some of the best views of the river and the down-town area. The two largest suites are the Regent and Infinity suites, each measuring 251sqm, and comprising two bedrooms, a dining room for up to 10 guests, a private butler's pantry, a fully stocked bar, a large dressing room with vanity cabinet and a grand foyer, as well as stunning features such as a grand piano and a fireplace.

Dining

Travelle is located on the second floor of the building and serves Head Chef Tim Graham's reinterpretation of American cuisine. The restaurant's interiors are designed by David Rockwell and seats up to 125 guests. Travelle's Wine Room has a tasting table for up to 10 guests which can also double as a semi-private dining area. Elle on the River provides a truly special outdoor dining experience in the summer months and features a special menu to match its surroundings, including specialty tacos and exquisite hot sauces. Pavilion offers a grand, elegant space for an exclusive dining experience, and is the venue for the Langham's Afternoon Tea with Wedgewood, which includes an impressive selection of sundaes and ice cream floats.

Leisure

Chuan Spa focuses on the healing properties of flowing water. Treatments start with the Chuan Bathing Ritual, which uses a mixture of hot and cold stimuli to help guests revitalise and relax. The spa has a herbal sauna, a salt stone sauna, an aroma-therapy shower and an oriental steam room. There is also a 20m swimming pool with an adjoining hydrotherapy Jacuzzi. The 210sqm Health Club has secure day lockers and contains the latest strength, endurance and cardio machines from Life Fitness Signature and Elevation Series, many of which have integrated entertainment systems.
