Das Stue is located in central Berlin in the city’s elegant embassy neighbourhood, close to Berlin Zoo and the famous Tiergarten park. The hotel occupies a historic 1930s building which was formerly the Royal Danish Embassy. The design is a blend of the historic and the contemporary. All the major attractions of central Berlin, including Kurfurstendamm shopping street and Brandenburg Gate, are no more than 10 minutes away by taxi from the hotel.
Das Stue has 79 rooms and suites divided into five categories. Stue Rooms (27sqm) are the entry level rooms, followed by Embassy Rooms (30sqm) and Junior Suites (45sqm) which offer views of the park, Berlin Zoo or the courtyard. The spacious Stue and Bel Etage Suites (60 to 70sqm) offer views of the park. Five of the suites are inter-connecting and can be combined to create a large 390sqm apartment which enjoys exclusive use of an adjoining balcony.
The hotel’s Cinco - Avantgarde restaurant has one Michelin star and offers fine dining in the evenings. The Casual - Dining offers all day dining with a Mediterranean touch. The restaurants are the first of four-times Michelin starred Catalonian Chef, Paco Pérez, outside of Spain. Guests can also relax in the Das Stue Bar and Wine Gallery, and enjoy drinks on the terrace in warm weather.
Das Stue Hotel’s 260sqm Susanne Kaufmann Spa and wellness facilities include a fitness centre, massage facilities, a sauna, and a 14-metre long indoor pool.
Das Stue is 20 minutes from Tegel International Airport (TXL), 35 minutes from Schoenefeld Airport (SXF), and 10 minutes by car from Berlin’s main railways station.
