The Sukhothai Bangkok is set in a peaceful landscaped Thai garden in the middle of bustling Bangkok. The hotel location is excellent, just south of the Lumpini Park, close to all shopping attractions and in close proximity to the major commercial locations. It is an excellent base for sightseeing as it is close to the Chao Praya River, the Patpong area of Bangkok, and it is just a 20 minute taxi ride from the Grand Palace. The tower of Banyan Tree Hotel, with its famous rooftop bar, is just next door. An RTS Skytrain station is a 10 minute walk away and there are good jogging locations in Lumpini Park.

The rooms and suites have a contemporary Thai design with elegant hardwood floors and they offer views of either the hotel’s gardens, Lumpini Park, or the skyline around the hotel. The accommodation options range from Superior Rooms (38sqm) and Deluxe Studio Rooms (45sqm), to suites from 66sqm to 198sqm in size. Alternatively, there are also Executive Deluxe Rooms and Deluxe Suites (both at 76sqm), which provide the best combination of space and comfort.
There are several dining options at the hotel, including the Caledon Restaurant. Located by the lotus pond and offering Thai and Asian seafood cuisine, it is recognised as one of the best restaurants in Bangkok. La Scala Restaurant offers classical Italian cuisine while The Zuk Bar is a great place for aperitifs, after-dinner drinks, and light snacks.
The Spa Botanica offers a Thai and international spa menu. There is also the 24-hour fitness centre, tennis court, and the 25-metre outdoor pool, set within landscaped gardens.
