The Sanchaya is located on the northern shores of Bintan Island, overlooking Logai Bay; up and coming beach resort that is growing in popularity. The area has many exceptional, white sand beaches and beautiful mangroves line the shore nearby. Wildlife is abundant with monkeys on land, and dolphins and turtles in the sea. The island itself forms part of the Riau Archipelago, so island hopping is actively encouraged.

Tasanee Grill offers a relaxed dining experience, focusing on Thai dishes and fresh seafood. The Library and Bar is ideal for socialising over cocktails and martinis while The Great House has a wine and cheese tasting cellar with an extensive selection of vintage wines and regular tasting events.
If guests can tear themselves away from the stunning beaches, there are a number of water sport activities to enjoy. Red Bull water sport events are often held on Bintan Island and there conditions are perfect for kite-boarding between December and April. Back on land, the Spa has six treatment rooms and provides relaxing and natural treatments, with ingredients drawn from the three-hectare garden and everything overseen by the Spa Consultant Jacqueline le Sueur.
