Previously the Aman New Delhi, The Lodhi reopened in February 2013 as a boutique property, perfectly reflecting the minimalist luxury style and values that define Aman resorts. The Lodhi is the best and most luxurious boutique hotel in New Delhi at present, and is certainly worth considering as an alternative to the Imperial Hotel.
Centrally located on Lodhi Road near the Lodhi Gardens on the edge of Imperial Delhi and across the road from the Delhi Golf Course, The Lodhi offers seclusion, peace, and a club-like atmosphere.
Following redesign and renovation in 2012, The Lodhi has 40 spacious contemporary styled rooms comprising 30 Lodhi Rooms and Lodhi Deluxe Rooms (135sqm) and 10 suites (from 240sqm). All of the rooms and suites are located in an elegant nine-story, two-winged building and all have private plunge pools and extensive balconies. Deluxe rooms are located on the top four floors while the Lodhi Rooms are situated on the first four floors.
The two restaurants specialize in Asian, Indian, and European menus. They also serve French Kaiseki — a combination of the best of French technique and Japanese artistry.
The leisure facilities include 50 meter long swimming pools, tennis courts, spas, squash courts, a Pilate’s studio, gyms, reflection pools, a banquet hall, rimless pools, and a beauty salon.
Amanresorts and The Lodhi have created a six-night itinerary to explore Delhi and Rajasthan. It includes two-night stays at The Lodhi, Amanbagh, and Aman-i-Khás.
