Situated in the centre of the Gstaad Promenade, Le Grande Bellevue, the hotel hosts picturesque views of the surrounding hills and is located close to ski facilities. A beautiful park surrounds the hotel, with one of the tallest pine trees in Europe decorated with 40,000 lights in the winter months. Luxury shopping venues can be found in Gstaad and the main promenade is padestrianised, allowing guests to enjoy the genuine Alpine look of the village. 22 ski lifts, 10 gondolas, 17 chairlifts and 4 cable cars connect the skiing area.

The two room options available are Chic and Deluxe Chic Rooms, measuring between 32 and 38sqm and offering views of the park and/or forest. Deluxe Rooms and Suites come with balconies and all rooms have a free minibar and have quality bathrooms stocked with Bamford Organic amenities. Suites measure between 60 and 170sqm in size, with the largest having floor-to-ceiling windows providing spectacular glacier and forest views.

There are many dining options available at the hotel, including: Leonard’s, the hotel’s flagship restaurant where guests can enjoy bistro-style cuisine mixed with international gastro trends from the Michelin-starred chef, Urs Gschwend; Le Petit Chalet, set in the gardens and serving traditional Swiss cheese dishes, fondues and other regional delicacies; and The Sushi Bar, where diners can enjoy fresh, hand-rolled sushi. In-room dining is available in all rooms should guests prefer it and The Lounge offers a number of cakes, scones and patisseries to be enjoyed with cups of tea and coffee in a relaxing, homely environment. Afternoon Tea can also be enjoyed, which includes sandwiches, a large selection of teas and an optional glass of champagne. A number of bars can be found at Le Grande Bellevue, with venues such as The Bar, which serves handpicked wines, award winning cocktails and the hotel’s signature drink, the Bellevue Smash; The Club Room, which is only open during the winter season and for special events, where guests can enjoy a glass of champagne with music from a live DJ; The Cigar Lounge, which hosts a wide selection of high quality cigars and whiskies; and Leonard’s Cellar, with over 9,000 bottles of the finest wines, with the possibility to arrange themed tasting sessions.

The ski slopes of Gstaad are the main attraction during the winter, though guests will be sure to want to enjoy Le Grand Spa as well during their stay. Measuring 2,500sqm, the facilities include, among others, an aroma sauna, a Himalayan salt room, an ice grotto, a Turkish Bath and 11 treatment rooms. Yoga and Pilates courses are available and a Ghel with Ivo Aeschlimann hair salon is hosted at the spa.
