Rooms and Interiors

The hotel has 11 individually decorated suites. The interior architecture of the residence suites are the highlight of the hotel. The interiors feature Indian chandeliers, vaulted ceilings, original artwork, huge mirrors, and antiques, all of which create a sense of being in a truly grand Capetonian Winelands residence.

Dining

La Residence restaurant’s dining area resembles a grand manor hall in look and ambience, with black and white flooring and vast fireplaces, while the Persian Alley offers a setting for alfresco summer meals. The menu is based on locally sourced and seasonal ingredients which include traditional game such as springbok, local fish and free range poultry. Guests can also arrange personalised cookery demonstrations at La Residence Chef’s Table.

Leisure

La Residence has its own spa and a well equipped gym and private library. The hotel provides a complementary transfer service to Franschoek village and local award-winning restaurants. A private cheese or wine tasting can also be arranged at one of the surrounding Franschhoek winelands.
