Location

Located 10 minutes' drive from the gates of the Ranthambore National Park (1,334sqkm), Aman-i-Khas offers luxurious tented accommodation with all the comforts and world class service expected of an Aman resort.

Accommodation

Open from October to April, which is the best time of the year for wildlife viewing, Aman-i-Khas has 10 spacious air conditioned tents, each of which has all of the amenities of a luxurious villa. The permanent tents comprise living, sleeping, dressing, and bathing areas, all of which are centred around a main room with an expansive daybed nestled beneath the tent’s canopy.

Facilities

The spa, restaurant, and library are set in separate spacious tents. There is a beautiful open fire place area which is an excellent venue for evening drinks and for listening to the birds in the nearby trees and vegetation.

Activities

With the Ranthambore National Park on the doorstep, early morning and late afternoon drives into the park and visits to nearby towns and villages are the resort's main attractions. The Park boasts Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, jackals, mongooses, crocodiles, and many varieties of deer as well as an abundance of birds.

Amanbagh

A stay in Aman-i-Khas can be combined with a stay at Amanbagh (Aman’s property approximately 2hrs away) and a visit to Jaipur.

Getting There

3 hour drive from Jodhpur (JOH) or Jaipur (JAI) airports. Alternatively, guests can travel to Aman-i-Khás by train. It takes approximately 6 hours by train from Delhi to Sawai Madhopur station, located in the outskirts of Ranthambore National Park.

Weather / When To Go:

From October until the end of April is the best time to visit. December and January can be cold at night. The camp is open from October to late April.
