Location

Offering views of the Pacific Ocean, the newly refurbished El Encanto boutique hotel is located on a hillside in Santa Barbara, the center of the American and Californian Riviera. It is an excellent base from which to explore California’s Pacific Coast, Santa Barbara’s wine country and the Santa Ynez Mountains. There is also the possibility of shopping and dining excursions along the picturesque coast of Santa Monica and Beverly Hills; approximately 70 miles southeast of Santa Barbara. The Municipal Golf Course is a 10 minute drive from the hotel.

There are 92 Californian-style and Spanish Colonial Revival bungalows set among seven acres of lush hillside gardens.

Dining

The hotel’s restaurant serves contemporary Californian-coastal cuisine with Asian touches in the elegant dining room or on the terrace overlooking Santa Barbara and the Pacific. Weather / When To Go

March to June and September to November are best months to visit. However coastline of Southern California has mild Mediterranean climate being one of the very few true year round destinations in the world.
