The Baccarat Hotel

The Baccarat is located in central Manhattan, occupying a 50-storey skyscraper designed by Shidmore, Owings and Merrill. The hotel overlooks the Museum of Modern Art, while Central Park and Carnegie Hall are both within walking distance of the hotel. Luxury shopping is available at the nearby Rockefeller Centre, which is just 10 minutes away.

Guest rooms are divided into Classic King and Grande Classic King rooms, measuring approximately 37 and 41sqm respectively. These rooms are elegantly designed and have floor-to-ceiling windows, creating an open and airy space to relax in. Classic Suites measure 59sqm and are residential style retreats with four-poster beds and marble nightstands. The 79sqm Prestige Suite is an exclusive Parisian style one-bedroom suite with curated artwork and a red-lacquer minibar. The spacious Harcourt Two Bedroom suite is ideal for larger groups that can make use of the 118sqm of space, private dressing rooms, and the two spa-like marble bathrooms. The most prestigious suite comes in the form of The Baccarat Suite, measuring 161sqm it is perfect for entertaining, with a regal foyer, a spacious living room, a dining room with butler’s pantry and separate staff entrance, a guest powder room and a fully equipped media suite, all of which is lit by majestic crystal chandeliers.

The main dining venue is Chevalier, which combines creativity and exceptional talent to create an exquisite menu. Michelin starred chef Shea Gallante oversees the kitchen and its exclusive French haute cuisine. The dining area seats up to 80 and the chef’s table has room for a further 20. The restaurant is directed by Charles Mason who, with 40 years of experience, has created a luxurious atmosphere unlike anything else found in the city. The Convivial Bar area seats 15 and is ideal for a cocktail or after-dinner aperitif.

Spa de la Mer is tucked beneath the hotel’s entrance and with its four treatment rooms and relaxing décor, creates the feeling of having a serene moment by the sea. Daybeds line the pool and a wide range of amenities are included in the experience. The fitness centre offers weights and cardio equipment while personal trainers are on hand to offer advice and guidance.
