Fairmont Pacific Rim is the newest large hotel in Vancouver. It is part of a 48-story hotel and condominium complex which was completed just prior to the 2010 Winter Olympics. The hotel occupies the first 22 floors of the building, with the remaining floors being condominiums.
The tower that houses the hotel is located at 299 Burrard Street in Downtown Vancouver, in the Coal Harbour neighborhood by the Burrard Inlet waterfront, and is connected to the West Building of the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre. The hotel offers unobstructed panoramic views of the North Shore Mountains, Canada Place, Stanley Park, and Coal Harbour.
The hotel, designed in a cosmopolitan contemporary style, offers a choice of rooms and suites, including Ofuro rooms (500 sq. ft.) and suites (800 sq. ft. to 2,250 sq. ft.), and standard Fairmont rooms (400 sq. ft.). The rooms are modern and have floor-to-ceiling windows.
The hotel has three dining and lunching venues which include, ORU, featuring food from the Pacific Northwest; Giovane Café + Winebar, an Italian-inspired café and deli by day that turns into a wine bar at night; and the Lobby Lounge which offers classic cocktails and live music seven days a week.
The hotel boasts a Willow Stream Spa; featuring nine treatment rooms and a modern fitness center.
