Amangani was the first Aman resort in North America and has remained the premier ski and nature resort in the Western Hemisphere since.
Amangani is located close to Jackson Hole, a picturesque valley in western Wyoming. Amangani's unique location offers panoramic views of the peaks around Grand Teton National Park and the meadows and grazing land of Snake River Valley. The average altitude of the valley is approximately 2,000 m (6,5000 ft), while Amangani itself is nearly 2,140 meters above sea level.
Amangani, designed as a Western style lodge, offers 29 Suites all of which are carpeted, air-conditioned, and include a bedroom/living room with a spacious bathroom/dressing room. The deluxe suites are similar in layout and design to the regular suites, but are a little bigger. Every suite has a balcony with views of the mountain.
The Grill, Amangani’s restaurant, has redwood-paneling on the walls and ceiling, specially-commissioned artwork, a wood-burning fireplace, and magnificent views of the mountains. The Grill specializes in local, sustainable ranch meats, fresh fish, and seasonal farm-to-table produce.
Amangani’s beautiful 35-meter (114 ft) heated, outdoor pool is one of the highlights of the resort. It is linked to a 10.5-square meter whirlpool. There are excellent views of the mountains and the valley from both the pool and the whirlpool. The Resort Spa and Fitness Centre features treatment rooms, exercise studios, separate steam rooms, and individualized yoga and fitness programs.

Jackson Hole receives on average 1,016 cm (400 inches) of snow a year and enjoys some of the best skiing in North America. The valley is usually covered in snow from mid-November to late-March, occasionally lasting into early April.
