The Hotel and Location

Algodon Mansion is a small all-suite, luxury boutique hotel located in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires. It is considered to be one of the best city boutique hotels in South America. It offers an excellent alternative to the larger luxury hotels which are also located in the Recoleta neighborhood. Algodon is the sister property of Algadon Estate, a vineyard estate in San Rafael, south of Mendoza. The hotel is housed in a beautifully restored 1912 landmark French Classical design building. The interiors are elegant and contemporary.

Accommodation

The hotel has 10 spacious suites ranging in size from 50sqm to 110sqm. The Recoleta Suites are the smallest, while the Imperiale Suites offer an adjoined sitting area. The Ambassedeur Suite is almost the same size as the Imperiale Suites however, it has a small garden view terrace. The top level Royal Suites is one of the largest and most comfortable among BA’s hotel suites (120sqm).

Dining

Cognac Bar, serving fine cognacs, wines, and cigars, and the Chez Nous restaurant are located on the ground floor. They attract BA’s elites for lunch and dinner. The menu theme is an Argentine-French fusion cuisine and good wines from Algodon Estates are offered.

Facilities

The Hotel has all the amenities one would expect of a large hotel including a bar, spa, restaurant, and a rooftop pool. The rooftop features a small pool and teak decks with lounge chairs.

The Butler

The hotel is distinguished by its personalized service including a butler who looks after guests during their stay at the hotel.

Getting There

The hotel is 33 km (45 minutes) from Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) and 5km (30 minutes) from Jorge Newbery Domestic Airport (AEP). Palermo Soho district is 5 km away (10 minutes). Puerto Madero district and the Malba Museum are 3km away. Patio Bulrich, the most luxurious shopping center in Argentina, is 200m from the hotel.
